Start with a fresh login on Oneiric Beta2.
Notice that the GlobalMenu still displays the Nautilus Menu options.
If you click on File > New Tab, the Desktop goes blank.
May be better to not display any menu options on the Global menu if no
appication is present.

After installing pkg-create-dbgsym, no more segfault was produced. Rest
of the packages I had already installed. xchat-gnome is working fine
now. Thanks!!

It will be nice to have the user list visible all the time as it makes
it easy to highlight messages to particular user. I would like to test
if you merge the patch upstream.
