Duplicate status is bogus I think.
My sound stopped working in Jaunty as in - no sound - nothing - I looked
at https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/355825 - and it does not ring true.
It's got nothing to do with

Ditto here - most I get is a kind of crunchy sound since latest update
lspci also says:

The built in sony memory stick reader does not work for me on Hardy
