Getting closer...
Thanks to Brent's reply, I used the NOACPI option from the Boot menu
(hit F6 and select it), and was finally able to get past the previous
no CD-Rom detection error, but now get this error:
Debootstrap warning
WARNING: Failure trying to run: chroot /target dpkg --force-depend
Has anybody figured out a way to install 12.04 64 server version as Xen
VM?? I even tried mounting a CIFS share using just the .iso, still
bombs with the "Detect and mount CD-ROM" error message?
I even tried upgrading from 11.04 and 11.10 to 12.04 on a virtual
machine... upgrade bombs with a hard
Same issue using Citrix XenCenter version 6.0.2 (build 53158) as of Apr
27, 2012.
CD install will start, asks about language and keyboard layout, then
stops with the Detect and mount CD-ROM error message!!!
Any update on this?
