Public bug reported:

To reproduce in 12.04. Open a PDF to run Evince. Go to an arbitrary page
with some content displayed. Select a zoom level so that something is
displayed.

Hit CTRL+N. A new window shows but has blank display. The workaround for
now is to adjust zoom. Then PDF page is displayed. Should not need to do
this, because last window displayed the content.
