I have an Intel NUC8i7HNK and none of the Ubuntu or Debian images that I have
tried get past GRUB. I have tried Ubuntu Server 18.04.1 as well as the latest
Ubuntu 18.10 nightly. After selecting any installation method in GRUB the
screen goes black. Things that I have tried
This also affects me running 1:3.1.4-9Ubuntu on 16.04.3 LTS.

I have a similar issue on my Hewlett-Packard HP Z820 Workstation after
upgrading from 15.10 to 16.04. I have attached the associated kernel bug
log. I have the latest BIOS flashed.
When this happens the system is completely unresponsive (neither
Ctrl+Alt+Backspace nor Ctrl+Alt+F1 do anything). How
I am also seeing this on Ubuntu MATE 15.04 AMD64, except that I trying
to run the latest (git) development snapshot of CodeLite. I'm not an
expert at GTK, but it looks like a GTK bug to my untrained eye.

I too have the same (new) problem of DHCP not working on my Broadcom
BCM4727 802.11 Hybrid Wireless Controller 6.20.155.1 (r326264).
This bug has been open for a month and it hasn't been assigned. Breaking
DHCP on a bunch of laptops seems like a big deal guys.

I just installed the PPA. You don't know how happy you made me. I don't
think I have ever had a laptop where all the hardware worked perfectly
on linux until this evening. Thank You.
