I recently got a Palm TX handheld which I want ubuntu and specifically
evolution to sync with, unfortunately I was in trouble when Syncing as
gnome-pilot would lose connection with the palm TX when syncing with the
Eaddress component,
Affects me as well, I am using karmic...you can make it almost work by
manually compiling the gspca driver, in the end you get the image, but
unfortunately it will be flipped and the framerate and image quality
will be very poor.
I am sure this can be fixed somehow.

I agree with Mark, hope this gets retranslated ;)
Although this looks minimal, well, for a novice linux user this can be
misleading (no way for them to guess what archive manager does), better
to talk about compressed files, it is more understandable ;)

Hm, this would affect almost all locales, and since in most countries,
AM/PM are not used at all, I feel that it would be wrong to introduce
them into the locales.
@Marin Pitt: As a Colombian I should tell you, the am/ pm format is the most
widespread time notation in this great country,
Still in Jaunty... are they going to fix this one ever?, really, this
kind of bugs and the time they have had to fix this rather simple bug,
leaves a lot to be desired of the distribution.

How can we contact the package mantainer? he seems to not to lurk in
here or have ever used emerald in hardy, after 5 months of keeping the
same simple bug, you can easily tell he is not doing a thing in this
package, I call for a mantainer change

Since Ubuntu 8.04 there have been problems accessing my dvd drive. To
put it simple, when I try to access multimedia files (audio and video,
any kind) that are in a dvd, the player will freeze for a time and then
popup an input / output error, when launched from a console,
there is a temporal way to fix Alex La hurreau problem...
just type in the terminal
lyx newfile.lyx
it seems to happen because it crashes when it tried to load
introduction.lyx. I know the solution is not pretty but it should get
you working in the meantime
