Hi! The issue is there for me as well on my Lenovo W510, Nvidia Quadro FX 880M and 64bit 10.10. (Kernel: 2.6.35-27-generic) I tried this workaround ( http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=10502147&postcount=94 ) but that didn't help.
