Happens to me using LibreOffice. I will try disabling Java in
Libreoffice settings and report back when the bug shows up again.

When I connect my Sony NWZ-S516 MTP-Device to the computer, Banshee
freezes. After program restart, it tells to be already connected to a
MTP-Player although there is no player displayed in the menu. I am
running Banshee 1.4.1 on Ubuntu 8.10.
