When I switch to tty1~tty6, the screen showed only one line: A start
job is running for Hold until boot process finishes up( 56s/ no limit),
and I can't do anything, even login to tty1...

users). When logging with a local user and the network disabled all is
ok, but if the network is enabled the panel freezes on login and the
fast-user-switch-applet task runs at 100%. Now, I can't remove the
package as ubuntu-desktop
Same issue here, solved by disabling "legacy keyboard support" in the
BIOS. Award BIOS version 6.00PG, if it is of any use.
