Thanks for the bug report. Please open the Extensions app and check to
see if you have Desktop Icons NG enabled. --> Thanks for your response. I have
checked Desktop Icons NG seems to be turned on. attaching screenshot.

Not able to see the desktop files and folders directly. Will require to
open nautilus to be able to see them.
