Ok, my fault: kernel was upgraded to 2.6.35-23, but dev alsa modules snapshots are available only for 2.6.35-22 at the momement. Therefore speaker was enabled (and mic muted) by the updated kernel (and disabled custom modules), and not because of alsa modules update itself. -- Left internal spe

After updating linux-alsa-driver-modules to version 2.6.35-22.20101029 I have left speaker working fine finally, although... internal microphone stopped working again! This is just ridiculous: are these channels self-excluding? :) Are they using the same wire by any chance? :))) PS Todays upd
