Hope this data point helps: 1. Fan control worked fine with Karmic-9.10---2.6.31-20 after a suspend/resume cycle. 2. It quit working with upgrade to Lucid-10.04---2.6.32-21 & 2.6.32-22. 3. When I boot Lucid (10.04) using the left-over 2.6.31-20 kernel, fan control works again, i.e., the fan slo
