Yesterday, I tried the workaround proposed by smkururu.
The side effect is that in Emacs Meta key is know key, and is no
more usable in Emacs.
This is not an acceptable workaround.

Corsair Twinx 2x1GB DDR2 PC6400 800Mhz
I have the same problem, with a fresh install of Jaunty. Was working
fine in Intrepid.

In reply to EduardoRomero, the following just work for me. It assigns "e" to nautilus.
I admit that I never had success in doing this through GUI of
System/Preferences/Keyboard shortcuts that try to assign "Super L" key
unsuccessfully.
gconftool-2 -t str --set
/apps/metacity/global_keyb
I confirm the bug.
It affect division, but also addition, multiplication, substraction.
I am sorry, but I am unable to confirm that patch provided by Rolf works.
But I am able to confirm that everything works correctly if compiled from
source (outside .deb packaging).
