I just thought it would be more obviously for users they have everything
installed and do not need to worry they are missing something. Because the FF
default homepage is something like a "figurehead".

I also came across this "manual running of cronjob makes it wait
indefinitely" today as i wanted to test it.
With the fix above it seems to work (as i don´t now on which webpage to
look for my data i can´t tell if they are correctly send out and
received).

I have tested stellarium (0.7.1-1ubuntu3 - dapper) but it won´t run here
because my monitor is just too small (only 800x600).
Maybe some else will try this version, or i will do so after vacation.
If this version runs fine then i suggest to close this bug because OP
hasn´t answered for almost 4 m

They are active working on this issue.

Thank you very much for your very fast reply.
I have an other ubuntu installed on an other partition (my backup
system) where the new kernel boots just fine.
After investigation i found out it´s _all and only_ my fault.
The mistake was a wrong grub entry.
So exuse me please for for this mistake
