I was getting this error (Stderr: 'iscsiadm: No portal found.\n'). It
turned out that I had both tgt and iscsitarget installed, and both were
trying to run a service on the same port. Cinder was setting up a tgt
target, but iscsiadm was connecting to the iscsitarget service and not
finding it.
What are the possible values for this option? The example file from the
installation documentation doesn't have connection_type or libvirt_type:

I installed 12.10 alpha 2 in VirtualBox, and it worked fine for me. I
then used update manager to upgrade to the latest version and it
continue to work. Does it still crash for you with all updates applied?

the old PackageKit API (instead of just returning an exception). So, the

Ah, you're right.
1. I installed precise from a recent snapshot, upgraded, and installed
PackageKit. It failed using zeroinstall-injector 1.4.1-1 but worked with
1.4.1-2.
2. I removed PackageKit and installed python-aptdaemon.pkcompat. Then it
fails.

Was a work-around for a problem with Python 2.5's distutils, I think.
Looks like it's not needed with Python 2.6.

I'm having this problem several times a day since upgrading to 8.10 (all
previous versions were OK).
I use focus-follows-mouse and two screens. Window manager is Ion 3.
I mainly run Firefox, Evolution, xterm and Vim. The mouse moves and the
keyword works fine (including changing focus), but
mentors.debian.net is having some problems at the moment, but 0.36 will
get uploaded when it comes back. Once in Debian/unstable, it should soon
find its way into Ubuntu.
In the meantime, please test the 0.36 deb and report here whether it
works:
