As wierd as it may sound it seems it seems this problem solved itself
somehow somwhere between Beta and Final . With that beeing said bug
squashed . The final release works like a charm on the machine with 196
MB of RAM despite the fact that it doesn't use the swap partition.

i don't belive that to be a reason not to boot at all. If i am not
mistaken the live cd also may use a swap partition if it finds one. And
that sistem has one of about 760 MB .And besides.. one of the other
systems i tried edgy live on had 128 MB and it worked ;) so... i don't

Also confirmed here. It duplicates all my 6 partitions in the same
manner afeter upgrading from dapper and also after fresh install off the
Knot 2 CD (all updates applied of course).
