Hello again, all,
I performed the same SRU verification steps as I described in comment #7
on disco using 1.6.0-3ubuntu0.19.04.2. The tests were successful and I
changed the verification-needed tags to verification-done.
The autopkgtest failure was caused by a temporary network issue and has

Hello again, all,
I finally managed to get some time and performed the SRU verification
for this. The package obviously built and I also ran the separate
minimal test case to ensure that independent code using this library
builds.
It seems that the autopkgtest has also been retriggered and the fa
The golang-collectd (armhf) autopkgtest seems to have failed due to an
unrelated network error:
> Could not connect to ftpmaster.internal:80 (91.189.89.99), connection
timed out
I am guessing that this was a temporary error and is fixed by simply
retrying, but I do not have permissions to do this

Thank you for the input, Ćukasz. I agree and went with the second

After adding the wrappers I found a second issue which caused the build
to fail. This was fixed by pulling the upstream patch from

Hopefully this unrelated disco bug will not block the fixed bionic and

First up, thank you Simon for sponsoring this patch and Steve for

The test case described in the bug report passed for bionic and cosmic

This issue can (at least partially) be resolved by upgrading golang-
google-grpc to version 1.7.0. It includes a fix for https://github.com
/etcd-io/etcd/issues/8627, which the author of this issue reported as
the problem in https://github.com/etcd-io/etcd/issues/9956.
