pstoedit doesn't play well with ghostscript 9.22. Apparently, pstoedit
doesn't support the DELAYBIND command with ghostscript any more, causing
problems rendering eg equations in Inkscape.
ghostscript 9.23 solves this issue. So far I experienced no side effects
on my mac
EDIT: this bug affects the Ubuntu 18.04 AND STILL the current devel-
version of 18.10

I have noticed that Kubuntu 18.04 (Bionic Beaver) does not login to
public Wifi hotspots without wifi security, that require login through a
web page. I don't know if this is reproducible on arbitrary public
networks, or only on the few I tried.
The solution was as follows:

On hitting 'Extensions -> Render -> Latex' the usual interface to insert a
latex formula appears, but on hitting 'Apply' stops with the following error:
PostScript/PDF Interpreter finished. Return status 65280
Colin, this is suddenly (since today?) also the case on my machine. Some
update of whatever package seems to have broken it again. Hope this gets
fixed again for the release.

It does (rarely) happen that the drop down list with the last used
commands in the HUD doesn't respond. This can be overcome by a new
search, after that also the drop down list works a

I can't be sure if there is a connection, but after todays Compiz
update, the HUD in LO doesn't work at all on this computer any more.
Several reboots later and testing it on a different computer lead to the
same results.

your own design-principle - the reason to move menus to the panel - is
terribly (!) inconsistent.
If you put as much design-effort into the BFB as you are putting into
the new launcher-icon, it would be no problem for new use
