Here's what I don't get. This is marked as the duplicate of a host of
other issues. Unfortunately, THOSE are not related to the nouveau
driver. Heck, I'm using an intel driver at work, an nvidia driver at
home (nvidia 8500) and an ATI card (FGLRX) and ALL OF THEM have this
exact problem. I can open

Seems that the patch Michael submitted made it into mainline (that's my
guess) which fixes a pixbuf issue, (constant increase without use) but
that there's outstanding issues with lenses, opening the dash, and
various other scenarios, which seem to all require use of the system. A

Just an update.
Looking at the upstream comments, it looks like this *may* be fixed in 1.7.
Sounds like the whole system broke between 1.5-1.6, so it's not an easy fix.
However, here a few people are discussing who/when will fix it, if only
briefly...

When do we estimate this will be included in mainline? (Looks like they

Evolution crashes
I am unable to reproduce on the 2 other computers running ubuntu in the
office. One of these is running 8.04, and the other is running 8.10,
with the same version of evolution as I am.
I can also provide a test case (step by step) and/or a screen recording
of the issue if this would be helpful.

Something that worked for me was clearing the "mailbox name" under
