As I had posted on 2010-11-13, I have returned this device to the vendor
because a similar lockup also occured on Windows. So I cannot test
anything any more. Please close this bug. Thanks!

The same symptoms happend totoday while running Windows XP x64. So this
issue is either a hardware fault or a bug in the OS-independent part of
the Intel driver.
I will return the device to the vendor, but as of yet I am undecided
whether I should get the same model in exchange or rather a

I have a Thinkpad X201 with Ubuntu 10.10. I already installed all
firmware upgrades available from Lenovo. This is a first time install of
Ubuntu on this system. I worked with Ubuntu for two days and everything
was fine (although 2 days is not
