Sorry, i made a mistake in my last comment. The side speakers are outputting
the front channel too! Thats why im not hearing the test tracks for the side
speakers at all.
So the soundcard is outputting the front stream on the side channel as well.

I got the same soundcard and suffering the same problem.
I'm using Ubuntu 16.04 and a 7.1 soundsystem.
Enabling "Audigy A" in alsamixer enabled the analog output somehow but i
am getting no output on the side speakers. I have already tried enabling
every option in alsamixer.

On every possible zoom level the text appears blurry. Everything else is
sharp as you can see on the attached screenshot. I have set the scale to
2x in displaysettings because i am using a 4k hidpi display. It has
140dpi.

When setting a higher scale factor in displaysettings (factor 2 for example)
only the thumbnails appear blurry.
But Nautilus seems to create bigger thumbnails: just zoom in nautilus with
strg++.
It would be nice when nautilus would use this higher resolved thumbs
instead

I have a high density display (4k). When i set the scaling in display settings
to 2 the scrollbar sliders do not appear on mouse hover.
Setting the scaling to values below '2' works as expected.
As a workaround i disabled the overlay scrollbars for now using
'gsettings set
