Which gave me enough information on what needed to be changed in the
rest of the code to make it all work. Attached is a complete patch to
make the php ps module 64 bit compatible.
Briefly tested. At least it doesn't seg fault anymore.

Thanks Russell, your fix worked for me. I played around with the Reveal
Pressure and I found that a value of 5 works well. Having a value of 1
may make it too sensitive, especially if you are trying to click on the
window close button in that corner. I think the default value of 20 is
way too
Just did a fresh install of Ubuntu 11.10 on my Acer Travel Mate 6592G
laptop and I can confirm that the problem still exists. Without
blacklisting tpm_tis, the boot time is very long, and I get the same
errors in the kern.log file.

I am running unity 4.24.0, and I can confirm that pressing F11 twice in
Chromium fixed the window stacking problem. When this stacking problem
occurs, I need to minimize each open window in order to get back to the
desktop before I can use the unity launcher to switcher.

I've attached my kern.log file that shows the tpm_send error with other
related information:

tpm_send: error -62

Here's a workaround that worked for me:
Add
blacklist tpm_tis
to the file /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf

I also have a TravelMate 6592G and a recent Ubuntu 10.4 update cause
this issue. Upon boot, I get the Ubuntu splash screen briefly, then it
goes to the console based login prompt. After a few minutes, X server
finally kicks in and displays the graphical login prompt. Everything is

I use the feature accessibility feature to move the mouse using the
keyboard's numpad keys. This can be toggled on via the SHIFT + NUMLOCK
key. The feature works, but the movement of the pointer on the screen
is very jerky when using the keyboard.

I have a DELL Latitude D800 (Model PP02X), and I get the exact same
problem. It goes to sleep properly, but when I press the power button,
I see the HD lights blink and it turns on but the screen remains blank.
I know that everything is running properly in the background because if
