Hi. I'm running Evolution 3.6.4 on Ubuntu 13.04. Sometimes it decides to
do the following operations:
Saving user interface
Retrieving message
Unknown background operation
This results in the main Evolution window freezing. Items from the menubar
(file etc) are still access
I can also confirm that I've experienced this bug both on Ubuntu that
came preinstalled with my laptop 12.04, 12.10 I upgraded to and then a
fresh 13.04 install. Not quite sure about my other laptop but I do know
that this has been bothering me for a while. At the moment it's not even
recent files.
This is definitely one of the most annoying things in Ubuntu. At least
it's not as pushy as it is in Windows. IMHO, it should just hide away in
the system menu indicator (cog thing in the top right corner, whatever
it's called) after the updates should be completed, gently reminding the
user to res

Hello. After I installed my system, I realised that I set the username
to "laptop" and called my machine "tom". This annoyed me greatly, so I
changed it using gnome-control-center. Later, I realised that when
trying to open folders like "Pictures" and "Videos" by searching in
I downgraded xorg-server-core to 2:1.10.4-1ubuntu4.2 and then pinned it
back. Everything works well now, but obviously this needs to be fixed.
Here's the steps for anyone else experiencing this problem. Install
aptitude if you don't already have it.
aptitude install xserver-xorg-core=2:1.10.4-1ubu
Thanks Fabio! Is there any way I can browse code changes to xorg? I
might be able to pinpoint some changes that could've caused this. I'm
really desperate to get this fixed.

For me, Flash Player sometimes displays a grey box on YouTube, but the
sound is still playing. And often after about 4 seconds of the video, it
restarts it and then just works fine. Weird.
