More information, after some input.
It appears that the 3.5.1-1 ksmbd-tools package does not install cleanly
on top of an older version, nor does the fixed 3.5.2-3. But after
removing *and purging* the existing package (Jammy), the 3.5.2-3 package
from Oracular installs cleanly and completely, wit
I installed the 3.5.2-3 ksmbd-tools from Oracular and while it installs,
it shows the same issue as Bernard saw - it expects the ksmbd.conf in
/usr/local/etc/ksmbd, instead of /etc/ksmbd.
Also, it doesn't install the sample conf file, and since the name and
some of the options have changed since J
