during normal update with "Aktualisierungsverwaltung" the flashplugin-installer
hang on about 39%
I wait 15min. then i killed the prozess with STRG-C

I uninstalled gtkpod-aac completely, and installed gtkpod. When I attempted to
add new folders,
I got what you see in attachment 6, very similar to the original poster.
How do I change the path?

I just installed Ubuntu 9.04, Jaunty Jackalope.
I installed gtkpod. I clicked on Add Folder, and got the same messages as the
other poster.
I completely uninstalled gtkpod, and installed gtkpod-aac. I clicked on Add
Folder, and got the message seen in the attachment.
Since the Ubuntu 9.04 forma
I can help via option #2 (the LiveCD) once it lands; OS X is my primary
OS on my MacBook, and I don't have it configured for dual boot. I'll
make a note to check for Alpha5 on Sept 4.

After finishing the config in the GUI and choose the "start"-Menue the
following output appears in the terminal:

I've encountered this as well (under Gutsy), after installing
libvisual-0.4-plugins and attempting to start various visualizations.
Half the visualizations seem to work fine, while half seem to crash
immediately (jess, lv_flower, lv_gltest, nastyfft).

I recently installed the Gutsy beta on my MacBook, and the fan (the
MacBook only has one) never slows down after it initially speeds up. I
added applesmc to /etc/modules, but the problem persists.
