I got this issue while connecting Lenovo G70 to an external monitor
using HDMI cable. I was able to workaround this by replacing Nvidia
proprietary driver with Nouveau.

The ministry of interior affairs (Misrad HaPnim) website is known to be
problematic in Firefox due to javascript issue on the website. They are
aware of this issue and said they will fix it until 2010 (note that we
are passed this dead line already...).

I can confirm this is an upstream bug, which I wish to fix for years.
Fixing it is not to complicated, and won't require too much work, but I
am not too familiar with the default fonts that ship with Ubuntu and
Linux in general. If someone want to help, please contact me.

the bug summary is for Hebrew messages in the console? It is possible I
am misunderstanding you, but I am not sure if this is the case.

As Kaplan said - Hebrew in console applications is disabled in Debian,
and probably because of configuration error are being shipped in Ubuntu.

easiest way is to use terminal application which support BiDi, such as

This bug caused because W is mapped to ' in Hebrew, and Q is mapped to
/.
This issue is known in Mozilla, and has a patch there waiting for
review. Reporter, next time, PLEASE look for upstream bugs before

from oss software. We relly don't want software bugs to be solved in
