Btw; in addition to moving dropbox to systemd, that is removing it from .config/autostart; I also deleted these from .config/autostart: rm evolution-alarm-notify.desktop rm gnome-getting-started.desktop rm gnome-welcome-tour.desktop Still no crash. -- You received this bug notification

I installed the Topicons plus extension yesterday. Since it recommended that Dropbox was moved to user systemd to avoid crash of the tray, I did just that. Since then gnome-shell has not crashed. It used to crash on every new login/boot. -- You received this bug notification because you are a
