What is the process for dealing with this? Pq passed the Lintian checks

I am confused. What should be tested? I do not have the specific system
where the problem originally occurred. With a clean installation of the

again by upgrading 10.04 to 10.10 with the latest patches to those

I get this error in Maverick beta while trying to read a video DVD into
an ISO image. Obviously the disc can not be unsupported as I am not
trying to write a disc. Just trying to write a file. This worked in
Lucid by right clicking on the DVD and choosing option "copy disc". I
maverick there is no

Quest depends on Wine. So uninstalling Wine should also uninstall
Progress Quest, and installing Progress Quest should install Wine. Does

then switching to Intel at boot time. The system was not able to bootup
until I removed the fglrx package.

If I understood correctly, driver packages, such as this one, should use
DKMS. DKMS makes it possible to build the software at package
installation time against the kernel being used. Doing a kernel update
at later time should then somehow trigger rebuilding of the DKMS
packages to keep them compat

to the desktop I used "System -> Administration -> Hardware Drivers" to

My bottom line is. It should atleast be possible to make video cards
work by switching the actual hardware or by toggling it from bios. I'm
ok with asking the user to install another driver when the new card is
detected. I'm not ok with asking the user remove one driver to make
another card work.

I retrieved miredo 1.2.1-1 package from Debian and installed it on my
Ubuntu Karmic. Installation went ok, and teredo interface came up as a
result. Then I closed my laptop lid. I've set it to only affect the

Errors with my Intel card might have been different from this bug.
However, I got rid of them by removing restricted ATI driver packages.
So, in case some of you have restricted driver packages installed for

Now. This is tricky. I got rid of the i810 error by configuring my Xorg
manually (see configuration below). This however did not fix the
problem. So "(EE) GLX error: Can not get required symbols." must be the

In that case I opt to test it with Karmic once it has been released, and
if it doesn't work I retest it with Karmic+1, when I happen to have that
at hand. I'm not going to take the risk that someone might not work on

makes the transfer fail on first time. Thus I find the icon useful
because it tells me the transfers are to succeed, but ofcourse it could

The game is available from http://www.scummvm.org/downloads/#extras
Packaging is permitted by the license found in file readme.txt within the
archive.

The biggest obstacle currently in the way of packaging Nosefart seems to
be the lack of man pages. We'd need two man pages. One for nosefart, and
another for gnosefart. Matthew Strait, being the current upstream
maintainer of Nosefart, has indicated that he might be willing to do a
new Nosefart rel

I might have been slightly wrong. "Crawling the file system" seems to be
the real killer. Effects of indexing aren't necessarily as serious.

I think the problem with saying "compress" is that creating a tar
archive is most typical use case and tar archives are not compressed.

Binary package hint: empathy
I occasionally use Xmonad window manager instead of Metacity in my
mostly vanilla Ubuntu system. While using xmonad, the contact list no
longer disappears when I click on the notification bar icon. Also while
using xmonad, the contact list window
In further tests the script worked. There might be some other problems
regarding jumpy network environments and miredo. In any case this script
seems to be a major advancement in solving the bug. I suggest we get it
in and close the bug for now. New bugs may be filed against further
