Your welcome... the semantics of dual-SIM modems are tricky, and
frankly this isn't fully discussed in the phone's user manual. That
said, I ended up fixing one of our telephony test plans, as there was
simple note about dual-standy modems that didn't give a full description

Public bug reported:
My system frequently freezes. The screen is still displayed but no
input is accepted from mouse or keyboard. The only action available is
to switch off and re-start.
ProblemType: Bug
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 15.10
Package: compiz 1:0.9.12.2+15.10.20151015-0ubuntu1
I have reported this under compiz as the freeze most often occurs when
scrolling up and down or moving about in web pages. It has, however,
also occurred when in other programs, such as playing a game of

Just a quick update to mention that the change to the NM bearer plugin

To reproduce, the overlay PPA needs to be added as a software source,

Can you have someone re-test with the latest rc-proposed? As mentioned
in my previous comment, we removed a large amount of NM related DBus
code from the Qt Bearer Management plugin as a fix for bug #1480877.
This work all landed in the PPA and is being tested by QA for release as
OTA8.5.
As it's not clear from the description, reproducing this requires adding
the overlay PPA as a software source to a vivid desktop, then installing
ubuntu-system-settings, which in turn will pull in all the required Qt
bits.
Also, for reference see bug #1480877 for the gory details.
