4 days of running the 4.13 kernel and every time I close the lid on this
laptop it's suspending and resuming without fail as it should.

It seems to be behaving on 4.13.16-041316-generic (but I've not been
about over the weekend to test a great deal!) Will keep an eye on it
and report back this evening.

And just for completeness, another failure on 4.18.0-10-generic ...

Another failure to suspend on 4.19 (booted into 4.18 on restart) ...

The above failure was exactly what I was originally experiencing in
18.04 with 4.15.0-38-generic; The only way to recover is to power off
and back on.
The AMDGPU failure seems to be another (sporadic) issue - it's the first
time I've seen it fail this way ...
More watching and testing required!
This one failed to suspend properly on 14.9 ...

Nov 1 08:30:24 g0w
That would be a good idea (silly me!)
Booted into 14.9 ... just testing as we speak!

4.15.0-38-generic) prior to upgrade, and has failed once since upgrade

Hamlib PTT has been broken in soundmodem for quite a few radios (if not
all) since v0.17. It's been looked at, but without any success.
As noted, the last version with working hamlib PTT was 0.16. As far as
