Hello.
I have purged xorg-edgers-ppa (it was a bit tricky because it was
disabled and had to reenable it in order to succesfully purge it), but
upgrading still fails.
I would like to troubleshoot this issue by myself, but I don't know
where to find the erros logs. Any help accepted ;-)
Thank you

Is there a way to have a finer control of the screen brightness?
I have been using the kamal~mjgbacklight kernels for

Pascal, this is still a problem with Ubuntu 8.04. I haven't had a chance
to test Intrepid.
A couple of other things I noticed:
- After the mouse or keyboard has stopped working it does not start working
again if I plug it into the PCI card. I have to reboot to get them working
again.
- If I run

the PCI card seems to be exactly the same as the output when restarting X with
