Just want to mention that the problem is still present. I have to click
windows titlebar a few times and _then_ it is possible to move it.

You are correct. It must be a compiz problem. I have now turned of
Compiz and it is now working.
Is there some debug information that I could provide that would be of
any help?

in order to move the window. When I start moving the mouse while holding
GPM does not discover my HTC mobile either. Same errormessage as with my

laptops. It includes programs to turn the fan on and off, to read fan

That fix didn't work with Gutsy on my Dell D420. I'm getting the error
message directory /proc/i8k does not exist.
If someone wants some kind of debug info, please let me know and also
tell me how.

The more we can apt-get the better. Then we know that the software is
being installed the correct way. We also know that it is being removed
from the system when we uninstall it as well.
