After hot unplug some device from PSU, getting same error: only REIUSB
works.

Many dongles stopped to work after 2.6.38-14 or so. I have three
different dongles with different IDs, all of these works in vanilla
11.04 and stopped with latest 2.6.x or 3.x (3.0.x .. 3.3.x tested)

Mathieu, it is difficult to reproduce this bug because 10.04 have no these
problems.
Now I have different prob: no any of my bluetooth adaptors works under 11.10 :-)

As Steffen noted, I ran into same problem (visit the bug I filed and he
pointed to).
Temporary work-around is to:
sudo apt-get remove modemmanager
But this makes NM incapable to detect and automatically set up "mobile
wireless connections". I don't care because I can dial mobile connection
using

aptoncd_0.1.98-0ubuntu4_all.deb creation of image for 200 megs of
packages went just OK...

May be it works, but requirement of nautilus-cd-burner removed the
brasero, and I dislike that.
