Still a problem with edgy, dont know about dapper. I have tried compiling
vanilla kernel a-la-debian but kernel-package bug stops me from doing so.

Still same error with latest version of driver. No development of the
driver for a long time now apparently. Maybe I should start coding
myself to see if i can provide a patch to make this work.

use apt for a while it might give the same error again. I'l be checking

I straced apt and seems like the PLF repository is giving some problems.
Still it shouldnt segfault because of a corrupt repo but im gonna
investigate a bit further. Don't wanna jump to conclusions too soon
though
