Looking through the default configuration file, internal and external
(required to run) are commented out by default. That would certainly
explain why it won't run.

So, we're thinking this is caused by an extension?
I'm no longer having this problem, and if I remember correctly, it was indeed
after I uninstalled an extension that it stopped. Unfortunately, I can't
remember which extension it was.
A list of my extensions is attached if anyone wants to compare

You misunderstood me. If you right click inside the bookmarks menu (or
any similar menu) on an area that is covering the web page (not, for
example, another toolbar), the bookmarks menu will be opened AND the
context menu of the page will be opened.

.diff.gz file) to read "+debian/timemachine.desktop /usr/share/app-
