That is not same as bug #269845, since my T'bird disappeared when i receive a
new mail.
Like,
when a new mail arrives T'bird pop up a notification, like 'u hv
received a new mail' something like that. When that pops up T'bird get
stucked. then i have to kill that process.

I'm also having that prob. too. I'm using 2 gmail accounts concurrently.
Im using Ubuntu 8.10 with latest Thunderbird version.
If anyone can give me a guide it would be helpful.
