Just got hit by the same thing and completely unrelated to comment #4.
We had this with fully formed paths (with slashes) and an NFS server
that went away suddenly. Trying unmount with -f , -l and those two
flags in combination did not solve the issue. When I tried the

Hi, I'm running into the same issue, first on 13.04 now 12.10. I'm
making this a dual boot with win7 and this is my nth attempt to get
ubuntu working. Very similar, if not same machine. I'm not sure what

I just want to specify a few things:
1) For me, SMPlayer has to be started before a video conversation. So I
can start skype, chat and do other things in the mean time. If I start a
video conversation then I run SMPlayer, Skype video still flickers blue
where as the opposite works out.
2) I

I noticed that if i run a video in SMPlayer, pause it and then open a
video conversation in skype, the incoming video no longer flickers blue.
The problem is that by doing this the outgoing video is o longer visible
on my end. The reciving party sees the video perfectly though

One other comment: While opensc-tool has a problem pcsc_scan is working
perfectly (it is able to see my card => it is using the reader) - that
is why I have decided that there must be a problem with opensc.

already have the person in my contact list, I can open the list and
click on the name to authorize. But most of the time people will

Sorry for the misconception. I'm now able to boot from the the 2TB hdd
if I use the mainboard in non UEFI mode (bios emulation). 11.04 server
installer hangs on uefi mode. (since the firmware/bios update 0524)
I get a menu now (since update, before it stayed blank) when I run the
installer in UEFI
