Release:16.04
4.15.0-39-generic
2. Don't know
3. To upgrade
4. Upgrade process was interrupted
ProblemType: Bug
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 16.04
Package: ubuntu-release-upgrader-core 1:16.04.25
ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 4.15.0-39.42~16
I chose to reinstall the 17.10 version from scratch. All the procedure
went without any trouble. I have IP connection over the wire. I presume
something went wrong during the upgrade process from 17.04 to 17.10,
which I can not reproduce.

Thank you, Phillip. I realized what you tell me, since I tried the

Problem bypassed. I closed the upgrade window. Ran a partial upgrade, which
led to the same error.
Closed the upgrade window again and made a smooth reboot. After booting, I
enabled some ppa's which led to a partial upgrade. Prior to run it, I removed
blueman. All went fine and I reinstalled bl

Hi, I finally could upgrade to 14.10, following the link below,

1) 12.10
2) I have no access to the software center nor to a terminal. But it's
the upgrade package from 12.04 to 12.10 on a 64 bit version.
3) installation should have been flawless
4) the package was not properly installed.
