The same happened to me today while trying to install Oneiric Beta 1
(clean installation). I've never experienced this problem before during
the process (that includes Ubuntu 10.04, 10.10 and Oneiric Alpha 2 and 3
- all clean installations).

using it [on a netbook] the menu became slower ... this extension makes
the LibreOffice menu about five times slower than the default (not
global) one.
