Hi. I just upgraded from 10.04 LTS to 10.10 then finally to 11.04. To do
the upgrade I went to System - Administration - Update manager.
The system upgraded fine to 10.10, but unfortunately the upgrade to
11.04 has left me with an unusable system. I am stuck at an all black
screen that reads as
Has the window popup bug been fixed yet?

I can add that if you minimize, then maximize the reading window, the
e-mail appears correctly. At least this is the behavior on my system.

I also have the same problem with my HP Compaq nc6000 laptop, Atheros
driver, and using the new Feisty 7.04 release. If I understand what
you're saying, Witold, we need to recompile the kernel with Wireless
Extension v20 until Wireless Tools v29 is released. Any idea when that
release will
I am having the same problem with Feisty Beta. I am going to try
updating my BIOS and see if that works. Otherwise, I am at a loss for
what to do. I have a 160GB HD split 130/30 (XP/Linux). Ultimately, I
plan to use the whole drive for Linux, but for now, I need to retain
this configuration.
