that are not widescreen.
My monitor, for example, is a 17" 4:3. I lose precious horizontal space
because of that big vertical sidebar.
I'm sure lots of people still use 4:3 monitors. The world is not all

Yes, the indicator at the taskbar also turns blue. I'm using Pidgin.
But... I guess that's not the point. Any software sending the Urgent
status to a window should behave in the same way, the one I'm describing
in the Bug Description.
An option should be provided under Unity's preferen
I hope no dev/mod/admin adds this to WishList, because waiting 6 months
for the next Ubuntu release just to get such simple feature would force
me to leave Unity's interface, unfortunately.

NetworkManager, but it is not available officially for Ubuntu 8.10 yet.

and he said that the latest version, released 27-Nov-2008, doesn't have this
bug.

Indeed, this IS a bug, because you can create a new connection, but you can't
set it to Auto Connect and System Settings.
Maybe the bug name could change the title, but it's still the same idea.

So, it's easier to set this as duplicate. This bug is annoying 9 users,

Using Ubuntu 7.10 full-updated and firestarter simply crashes itself, with
memory error (segmentation fault).
I didn't check that if I don't open Active Connections it doesn't crash, but I
think this is true.
