relogging or restarting nm-applet (killall nm-applet && nm-applet) works
for me as a workaround
and one more - when nm-applet becomes buggy and menu items do not
respond - the sub menu is not working either

i have just built keepassx from sources... after removing sni-qt package
all qt applications appear in classic tray, which distinguishes LMB and
RMB, so i can use keepassx the way i've used it years before. building
from source looks weird and not user-friendly, well, but this is the
most reasonabl
for me this bug has gone away long time ago, as i described above. so
for me this is not an issue in 12.04 (but #932769 still is)

used following workaround for alt+tab issue
- disabled unity's window switcher (anyway didn't like it's window grouping
feature =) )
- enabled Static Application Switcher - this have brought me classic window
switcher. when using it - tray does not disappear when alt+tabbing in a
fullscreen wind
disabling tray minimization is a very weird, imho. i can't even imagine,
how may this be considered a valid bugfix. it looks more like a new bug.
i agree with guys above, the most acceptable fix here is adding keepassx
to a sni-qt.conf
