Yes, it is still an issue and clicking off Animations in CCSM brings
things to normal. So obviously it has to do with animations.

Hi Bryce! You may close this bug as solved. After more testing I
found out the problem was the faulty USB cord, which on this camera is
not built in and has a mini USB connector. Using the cord from my
Blackberry 8830 resolved the issue. Sorry for the inconvenience. Hard to
believe
