What is the status of this bug, someone knows hy it doesn't work!
I have 2 installations of Kubuntu Hardy on 2 different pcs, one of them
(fully up-to-date) gives the same error as "jeroenvrp", the allocation
error; the other pc which is not totally up-to-date, in fact only some
packages like pyth
Please fix this bug, it make Kubuntu hard to use when you tend to
install any package! Please fix it for Hardy!

Binary package hint: gdebi
gdebi-kde can't install any deb package on both gutsy and hardy on my
system, but also tried on another ubuntu pc i have at home. This is the

If I understeand your solution, it's the same as I said: keep 640x480 and make
the theme look better for 640x480, But could it look smaller/better, but I
think that is the work of the artwork team to make the theme, right?

Please set again to high or medium! I hope it will be fixed for hardy though,
as it can scare user maybe!
Detecting on each startup is a soltuion, is there already a patch?

The bootsplasg is really ugly!
And why not set the bootsplash to 640x480 for any display and make the
bootsplash image smaller, so it would look good on any pc. Why do you think, I
hope you understand me! Also by this way it could work without patching
something by making the artwork in 640x480.
