Jeremy,
Thanks.
Will the packages libnewt0.52 and ext2-modules be added to the install CD
for the alpha-3 release? If not you will have a non functioning alternate
CD for amd64, at least for my install choice.
Cheers

I have previously reported this problem in text accompanying bug reports
for the Ubuntu installer (ubiquity?) and the hwdb-client. I am using a
Microsoft wireless optical mouse and keyboard through a KVM to PS/2
serial ports on the computer. I have found that if the mouse pointer is

I think that you probably should mark them all as duplicates, they seem
identical, but then I haven't looked very deeply.

Looks like a repeat of bug #103140.
I installed Feisty yesterday and converted my Evolution data from Dapper
version of Evo. Today I have been trying to set-up a Palm IIIc to hot-
sync with Evolution. The documentation for this is poor but
I have just booted from the Feisty Desktop i386 CD so as to do an
install. Invited to complete the Ubuntu device database information
was up to the final screen that asks for additional comments when the
crash was generated. I haver not run any other user level applications

supplied to get me started?
I will not update my system until we resolve the issue or dismiss it as a
furphy. I have a Dapper system that I use for day to day use so it is no
great inconvenience.
