Hi, I'm experiencing the same problem on my EeePC 901. I installed the alternative iso on an encrypted disk. After install I logged in ok, and had problem with unitys launchbar so I decided to update/upgrade with aptitude. Donne that and after reboot got a frozen login screen but the time changes
