Evan, I would caution you regarding the release note. On the RC, when a
user encounters this problem and clicks the OK button on the dialog, the
system reboots. The user is not taken to the desktop.

In version 2.11.2.1 (Lucid) the keyboard shortcuts for image rotation in
fullscreen mode (e, r, m) are not working. I agree that this version is
very slow compared to past versions especially when loading large images
and viewing directories containing large numbers (> 4000) of images.

I have some more information. When you go through gedit's menus (e.g.
File->Open location) you can open the file by entering the URL of the
share, in my case "smb://twin4/ftp-install/fc-devel/rsync_update",
however, if I attenpt to run gedit from the command line with "gedit
smb://twin4/ftp-instal
With 6.06, one of them. With 7.04 neither. With Fedora 5 (KDE), both.
Fedora 7 neither.

I've been testing 7.04 for couple of months. About 2 weeks ago the
CDROM drive stopped working after a kernel update. When a CDROM is
inserted, I see the following dmesg output:

I see this same problem. Usually, clicking the "Reload" icon completes
the reading of the share. I am running this on a relatively slow
machine (600 Mhz Celeron) and it worked in Dapper.
