Works here too! I have a Compal IFT00 with a rev3 sound card. I did: sudo echo options snd-hda-intel model=acer /etc/modprobe.d/alsa- base ..and rebooted. Make sure you have the backports package installed, didn't work last time I tested this without the package. -- Intel Corporation 82801H
