you are using the wrong command.
To set your output to PAL with xrandr the correct command is:
xrandr --output TV1 --set mode PAL
second:
PAL should be supported. But it seems like upstream has problems tracking this
issue on why the output becomes garbled.
And using a 2.6.33 ke
I do not have the time currently.

My patch was and is broken. I will look for a better fix when I have the
time, but I am not entierly sure this is only the fault of linuxdcpp

This just bite me on Hardy (up to date).
gnome-vfs-obexftp does not change anything.
Had it working in gutsy before updateing.
Has this something to do with gvfs? How to proceed to find more info or fix?

The problem is SELinux, see bug 202983 for a better description (dpkg
--configure tries to restart cupsd wich fails if cups is in enforce-mode due to
SELinux protection).
Please fix.

So this is either a "live with it" or try to find out why -sis crashes my

Is it time for someone to clearify things so we do not get more bugspam?
This bug has nothing to do with the size or format of your images. That is just
symptoms.
The bugs is a xorg bug (linked at the top of this page, "RenderComposite with
XAA renders at wrong position if vertically scaled.").
I have this problems:
* Missing/misplaced pictures with black borders.
Many times the thumbnails works, and if i show just the picture it does not
show up scaled, but shows up when I zoom up to full scale. Size seems to have
an aspect also as files with (maybe much) greater height then width
