Has anyone tried the .19-openvz kernel yet?
I'm sorry I can't personally try it as I have production VPS running in the .17
fix by Will Novak.

Just use Will's repositories and install the .17-openvz image.
It worked for me, just that it's not official yet. You can always deploy Will's
image first while waiting for the official Ubuntu one to be released.
Thereafter, just uninstall Will's image and then reinstall the official
Fingers crossed it's gonna make it to the final release? Or not?
8.04 was touted to have integration with OpenVZ... and if the kernel doesn't
even work, that's not very good at all. :(

image-2.6.24-13-openvz, it says You likely do not want to install this
package directly. Instead, install the linux-openvz meta-package, which
will ensure that upgrades work correctly, and that supporting packages
are also installed.

Verified that the same happens to the vmware-server 1.0.4 package in
gutsy partner repository, and the fix provided by Walter in the other
bug report does the trick.
